A quick market pulse as the week gets going.
Well-priced homes in Westfield are still moving quickly, and the level of interest remains high.
Over the weekend, I attended an open house where more than 33 groups came through the property.
Snow on both Saturday and Sunday, and buyers still showed up in force.
That tells us something important.
Motivated buyers are not being slowed down by weather, seasonality, or inconvenience. When a home is priced and marketed correctly, demand shows up regardless of conditions.
We’re also continuing to see exceptionally strong demand for turnkey homes. New construction listings around town are helping kick off the year’s market, and in multiple cases, these homes are receiving multiple offers when they’re positioned properly and shown well.
What Feels Steady
Buyer motivation remains consistent. Serious buyers are prepared, attentive, and ready to act when the right opportunity appears.
The fundamentals of location, condition, pricing, and presentation are still doing the heavy lifting.
What’s Worth Watching
As we move further into the year, the key question will be inventory.
Will the number of listings grow enough to meet demand?
And as more winter weather appears on the forecast, will showing activity remain as resilient as it has been so far?
Early signs suggest that buyers who are ready won’t be waiting for perfect conditions.
